About Yetunde

For over seven years, I have had the joy and privilege of working as both a Pre-K teacher and a dedicated tutor, guiding young minds through the magical journey of early learning and academic growth. In the classroom, I created a nurturing, play-based environment that supported the social, emotional, and cognitive development of preschoolers, using songs, stories, sensory play, and structured routines to build foundational skills in literacy, numeracy, and communication. My approach was rooted in patience, creativity, and culturally responsive teaching, ensuring every child felt seen, valued, and encouraged to express themselves. As a tutor, I provided individualized support to students ranging from Pre-K to middle school, tailoring lessons to each child's learning style and needs--whether reinforcing phonics, strengthening math skills, or building reading comprehension. I later began tutoring high schoolers and college students as well.
