About Yessi

When I found Yessi on Care.com 4 ½ years ago, I called her previous family and she said, “You are so blessed and lucky to have found her!” I have felt that way every day since! I’m so grateful we’ve had Yessi in our lives, caring for our beloved mother as she went through all the phases of Parkinson’s dementia. Yessi is very experienced and was absolutely attentive to every medical need my mother had. She also went above and beyond to attend to every little thing that she thought could make my mother more comfortable and happy, like giving her a shower and doing her hair and makeup everyday. Yessi is also a very calm and patient coach and she was able to encourage my mom to keep exercising and walking far beyond the point her doctors expected her to. She is fun and cheerful and brought fun and lightness to my mom’s life. Yessi took Mom for a drive or out to ice cream every day, and when they were at home she’d look for music and shows that my mother would like. Above all, Yessi is very compassionate and loving. She loved my mom and we know my mom loved her. She was there with us when Mom passed, which was a great comfort to us. My teen daughter sums it up by saying, "Yessi is magic". We can't recommend her strongly enough.
