I have about 16 years of experience in childcare with newborns and up to preteens. As a nanny my goal is to provide the right environment for kids to grow and learn at their own pace, not trying to control them or make them obedient, but rather guiding them towards the right direction. I do believe it is important to set clear rules and boundaries and explain why those exist, as that will make it easier for them to understand and follow them. It is very important to me to set a good example, as kids usually copy what grown-ups do and say, showing love, compassion, and kindness is top priority as well as sibling love.
