Yessenia was with our family for a year and a half, caring for our children who were 6 months and 3 years old when she started. She was consistently reliable, punctual, tidy, and a great communicator. She took the time to learn our family’s rhythms and each child’s individual needs, and she was always thoughtful about offering recommendations and adjusting her approach to help each of them thrive. She was deeply caring and built wonderful relationships with both of our children. Our older child initially had a difficult time accepting a new caregiver, but she was patient and persistent in building his trust and completely won him over. He absolutely loves her now. She also developed an incredibly strong bond with our baby and played an important role in helping him grow into an independent, loving, and confident toddler. With the arrival of our third baby, our family’s childcare needs and schedule changed, and unfortunately we were no longer able to keep her on as our nanny. We still have her babysit for us and are very grateful to have her in our children’s lives. We highly recommend her to any family looking for a responsible, intelligent, thoughtful, and genuinely caring nanny.
