About Yesenia

Empowering students to reach their full potential is at the heart of my six years of tutoring experience. I specialize in Math, English, Science, and Study Skills for elementary and middle school students. My approach centers on creating a patient, engaging environment where I adapt my methods--from visual aids to interactive discussions--to match your unique learning style. I hold certifications in Individualized Education Programs (IEP) and Student accommodation plans (504), which allow me to provide tailored support for diverse needs. By breaking complex concepts into manageable steps, I help students build confidence and critical thinking skills. Clear communication with you and your family remains my priority to ensure we meet your specific goals together. Whether we meet at your home, a library, or online, I look forward to celebrating those rewarding "aha!" moments with you as we turn challenges into personal victories.
