Hi! My name is Rukie-I'm a recent graduate of Worcester State University with a Master's in Sociology and a minor in Urban Studies. I now work at my alma mater as a Staff Associate for a community outreach institute. Before that, I ran my own business in Concord, MA throughout high school, offering babysitting, pet care, yard work, and event help. Out of all the jobs I've had, working with children has always been my favorite! Babysitting never feels like just a job-it feels like a chance to be playful, creative, and supportive. I pride myself on being dependable, trustworthy, and a positive energy in any child's day. I also have years of waitressing experience, which helps me stay calm and adaptable when juggling tasks. Rukie is wonderful! She is so kind, smart, and caring, and our child took to her immediately! She is so responsible and helpful, and was always attentive and with our child in whatever he was interested in doing. We really appreciated how she would not only receive feedback so openly, but her willingness to ask clarifying questions was helpful to us both. She went above and beyond, doing additional tidying and cleaning when our child was safely engaged in an independent activity, as well as simply cleaning up after our child's snacks and activities. She stuck with us through some challenging potty training times, too! As the parent, I always loved chatting with Rukie either about my child's development/care or anything! I truly appreciated hearing her perspective. Rukie is fun, open, and very communicative; we would HIGHLY recommend her to anyone looking for a caregiver!
