Yerlis, or Yaya as my son calls her, is the most incredible nanny. She is patient, kind, loving, and dedicated to my son. As a first time mom she calmed so many of the fears I had by walking by my side through every decision, big and small. She worked with me through each milestone and together would do research on the best methods from motor skills to learning. Beyond her professionalism, we consider her to be part of our family. She engaged our son in daily activities from parks in New Britain, where we used to live, to farms in Simsbury where we recently moved to. Any and every child would be the luckiest to have her as their caregiver. She started caring for our son when he was 3 months old and we are heartbroken that our journey is coming to an end with her now that my son is starting school. The love and bond she shares with our son is remarkable, she’s a special person.
