About Yeilyn

Hey there! My name is Yeilyn (pronounced yay-lean). I'm a mom to an almost 10-month-old and love helping children feel seen, safe, and appreciated for who they are. I believe in giving kids choices instead of using force and always get down to their level to listen and guide them calmly. I don't yell or use harsh words. I explain expectations and redirect when needed. I'm not a passive parent because I value structure and consistency just as much as kindness. Although my paid experience is one year, I have a few years of unpaid experience from my early twenties caring for four boys. I currently care for a 4-year-old boy every other week. These experiences taught me patience, balance, and how to stay calm even in busy moments. I'm looking for a part-time position that lets me care for children while still being present for my own. I'm dependable, gentle, and treat every child with the same care and respect I give my daughter.
