Yar is one of the best caregivers my mom had in the 10 years before she passed. She is competent, smart, loving, and keeps her sense of humor. My out-of-town siblings were out at ease knowing Yar was with out mom. Even when my mom had no appetite, Yar could get her to eat something and stay hydrated. Yar kept her positive attitude when my mom was difficult, having a bad day, tried to do things that weren't safe, and got forgetful. My mom loved her too. As a former teacher and life-long learner, my mom was happy to have someone interesting to talk to, which also kept her mental facilities longer. On a practical level, Yar kept my mom safe & clean. The house was tidy and nothing ever disappeared. She'd let us know when supplies and groceries were running low. I can't recommend Yar enough. She was great for my mom who desperately wanted her independence, but needed a lot of care.
