About Yanice

Hello! My name is Yanice, and I'm 20 years old. I'm the oldest of four children, two boys and one girl, and I've spent much of my life helping care for my younger siblings, all of whom have special needs such as autism and ADHD. Although it came with challenges, the experience taught me patience, creativity, and how to create routines that truly worked for them. Building on that foundation, I spent a year working as a Teacher's Assistant at New Life Camp, where I supported children in an engaging, hands-on learning environment. Currently, I'm employed as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), where I work one-on-one with children in a day program designed for individuals with special needs. Through this work, I've learned how small steps and consistent care can make a lasting impact. By joining Care. com, my goal is to serve as a trusted support to families and caregivers while helping children continue to grow, laugh, and thrive in a safe, encouraging space.
