About Yania

Hi! I'm Yania, a Psychology student passionate about child development and dedicated to providing loving, safe, and dependable care. I have verified experience as both a nanny and daycare teacher assistant, caring for children from 6 months to 12 years old. I've supported infants through daily routines, meal preparation, diaper changes, bottle feeding, naps, educational activities, homework, and creative play. I also have hands-on experience working with children with Autism (including nonverbal children), ADHD, and Down syndrome. I'm CPR/First Aid certified, completed a 40-hour RBT training, have a current TB test, NY fingerprint clearance, and continue completing New York childcare training. I'm bilingual (English/Spanish), comfortable traveling with families, pet-friendly, and have references available. My goal is to help every child feel safe, happy, understood, and loved while giving parents complete peace of mind.
