About Yamile

Hi! I'm a second-year graduate student in the School Psychology master's program at the University of Connecticut, graduating in May 2025. After summer, I'll be starting a full-time internship in the schools, so I'm looking for a nanny position that aligns with that schedule (full time in the summer and outside school hours the rest of the year). I have extensive experience working with children and adults with and without developmental disabilities in both home and school settings. Currently, I work part-time as a Developmental Therapy Assistant with Birth-to-Three, providing early intervention support to families. My training in school psychology includes skills in child development, behavior management, and child and adolescent mental health. I'm also bilingual in English and Spanish and comfortable supporting children with emotional, behavioral, and learning challenges.
