About Yamila

Hi! My name is Yamila, and I'm a 23-year-old educator seeking a summer childcare position. I graduated Cum Laude from Florida International University in 2025 with a Bachelor's degree in Education and currently work as a teacher during the school year. I have over 4 years of childcare experience, including 2 years as a paraprofessional supporting a child with special needs, one summer working at a summer camp, and 4 years babysitting for a family with two children, ages 7 and 11. As well as two years of weekend tutoring. I am passionate about creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children can learn, grow, and have fun. I enjoy arts and crafts, outdoor activities, reading, educational games, and helping with homework. Families describe me as patient, dependable, organized, and caring. My background in education allows me to provide both quality care and meaningful learning experiences. I look forward to connecting with a wonderful family this summer!
