About Yalda

I am a lifelong cat lover. I grew up with two cats as a kid that I loved and cared for. I had a roommate from 2016 to 2017 who had a lovely cat Yuki. We become best pals and she'd sleep with me a lot, and I would always look after her when my roommate was out of town. When I was living in San Francisco in 2015, I professionally cat sat Obi when his owner was out of town, visiting him, feeding him, and cleaning his litter. I was living in Greece for the past couple years and I started taking care of feral wild cats. In Crete there were two that I bonded with a lot: Fermion and Boson! We would even go on walks. I'm mainly a cat person, but I also love other animals like birds, fish, lizards, rabbits, and hamsters. I also have looked after both my own house plants and those of friend's houses I am house sitting. I love the flexibility of being a cat sitter as it gives me access to receiving and giving love to my favorite animal.
