I currently work for the Department of Education (DOE) as a Paraprofessional in early childhood, grades K-6 (District 75) I generally work with children, who have disabilities ranging from autism, ADHD, emotionally disturbed, and further more, in a classroom setting. I am CPR certified and have EPI pen training. Working in the DOE had taught me an abundance of skills such as communicating in different ways, promoting good behavior though positive reinforcement, and have most of all having an understanding and patience for all children. Working around professionals who care so much has instilled me to have a great passion for the development of children. It is a very rewarding experience.
