About Yael

I'd describe my personality as warm, loving, and responsible. I find the greatest joy in spending time with children. They require intense presence, deep care, creativity, and a willingness to be silly and not take yourself too seriously. These traits are hard to maintain amidst the never-ending responsibilities of daily life, but are a beautiful benefit of childcare. My first paid baby-sitting job was when I was a freshman in high school -- a longer time ago than I'd care to admit! More recently, I've been actively assisting with childcare since my first "niece" was born in 2017. Over these years I've routinely taken care of children as young as 5 weeks and up to 8 years old. I have a special soft spot for babies and toddlers, but love working with kids and teens of all ages! I also have experience as a mother's helper with twins starting at 4 months, and babysitting twins from ages 1-3. In my spare time, I like to read, take walks, and enjoy a treat from a local bakery!
