About Yadira

Hi there I'm Yadira, Yara for short. I have been a caregiver for the last 8 years. My skills include a daily routine, since routine is good for the developing brain. Activities both indoors and outdoors to make sure the child is being active and healthy throughout the day. I bring my own supplies for arts and crafts unless I see the activity calls for something the child already has. I also tutor math, English and Spanish but I am a jack of all subjects when it comes to school subjects and homework. I listen carefully to the child's needs but also help them navigate their emotions in a more calm manner so they can learn how to manage those emotions properly. Anything else the parent or guardian might want to add to our daily schedule can always be incorporated. My skills with newborns are different than with toddlers and teens, but the parents and I can discuss how they would want the infant to be taken care of.
