About Winona

Empowering young learners to reach their full potential is the core of my teaching practice. As a Certified teacher with two years of experience, I focus on building confidence and fostering a genuine love for learning rather than simple memorization. I assess your child's unique needs by actively listening and observing how they interact with new material, allowing me to tailor my approach through visual aids, discussions, or hands-on practice. Whether we meet at your home, a library, or online, I keep students engaged by connecting history and English concepts to their personal interests. I believe clear communication with families is essential to building the trust necessary for academic growth. Witnessing that "aha!" moment when a student finally masters a challenging skill is the most rewarding part of my work. I look forward to helping your student succeed and grow!
