About Will

Getting students excited about learning is at the heart of my teaching practice. With three years of experience as an elementary school teacher, I specialize in Math, English, STEAM, Study Skills, and History and can tutor elementary and middle school students. My philosophy centers on building confidence and fostering a love for learning new things not just memorization. I use visual aids, hands-on activities, and open communication to make sure student needs are met. When concepts become difficult, I break them into manageable steps and connect them to personal interests to maintain momentum. I believe that consistent, open dialogue with both students and parents creates the trust necessary for long-term success. I can meet at your home, the library, or online. I truly love helping students discover that they are capable of mastering anything they set their minds to and I can't wait to connect.
