Making a real difference in someone's life is what truly matters to me. My passion for supporting the well-being and independence of adults and seniors led me to caregiving, as well as taking care of special needs children . I am patient, calm, friendly, detail-oriented and easy to get to know. I adapt to changing routines, de-escalate stressful situations, and handle confusion with care. I create a comfortable environment for those I assist, as well as being open and sharing parts of my own life. I like my clients to feel safe and truly like they know me and can have an open and honest relationship. I communicate with families through written daily reports, verbal updates, and text or phone calls. I also have CPR and First Aid certifications. As someone living with type 1 diabetes, I understand the importance of healthy foods and movement. I would love to support your loved ones with daily living tasks and social interactions.
