Growing up, I had many different pets, and each one taught me something important. I started with fish, and even though they were small, caring for them helped me learn responsibility. I had to clean their tanks, keep the water set up correctly, and feed them the right way. After that, I had lizards, which were completely different. They were calm and fascinating, and taking care of them meant paying attention to their habitat, temperature, and diet. I enjoyed creating spaces where they could explore and feel comfortable. But the pet that shaped me the most was my dog. My dog wasn't just an animal in the house; he was a real companion. Walking him, training him, and just spending time together taught me patience, routine, and how strong the bond between a person and a pet can be. All of these experiences made me appreciate animals even more and helped me understand what it really means to care for them.
