I'd describe my personality as calm, nurturing and empathetic. I like caring for seniors because it is a great way to show respect to a population who has given so much to others already. I'm looking for a job that will provide flexibility with evenings, overnights or weekends. I started caring for seniors when my mother became ill and started assisting other family members as they became ill, including terminal illness or limited mobility. In my spare time, I like to read, to cook, to listen to music and to go on road trips with family and friends. One thing you should know about me is that I also work in behavioral health services and support youth, adults and families who are living with a mental health diagnosis. My skills include medication management, light housekeeping and meal preparation.
