About Whitney
Both of my grandparents lived in retirement/assisted living facilities far away from me. I know they loved young visitors so I volunteered at local nursing homes, much like the one my grandparents lived in. My schedule did not allow me to visit often, but I always felt like I was paying it forward to all thought volunteers who brightened my grandparent's day. I do not have a nursing background, but am certified in CPR, First Aid and AED. I enjoy taking walks, sharing stories, looking through old pictures and playing board games.
