About Whitney

I am an incoming freshman at SMU as a Dedman and Provost Scholar and a National Merit Finalist. I love working with kids and integrating their interests into learning. I have tutored for 3 years and babysat for 4. I have tutored for most subjects from Spanish and History to Math, Science, and English. I strive to help students to reach their full potential while also enjoying learning through personalized support. I prioritize building a supportive rapport, often integrating a student's personal interests into our lessons to keep them engaged and motivated. As I get to know them more, I often adapt my teaching to match their unique learning style. I look forward to helping your student thrive and discover the joy in learning!
