About Whitney

I'd describe my personality as loving, empathetic, and compassionate. I like working with kids because they force you to release your own inner child. I think the world would be a better place if we let out our inner child once in a while. I'm looking for a job that allows me to work with school-aged children and has a consistent weekly schedule. I started working with kids when I graduated with my bachelor's degree from UConn in psychology with a minor in human development. In my spare time, I like to read books and go for walks. I also love playing card games and coloring. One thing you should know about me is that I am an elementary school substitute teacher and I'm used to juggling lots of tasks at the same time. My skills include teaching, counseling/conflict resolution, and attention to detail.
