My name is Wesley. I am a sophomore at the University of Arkansas looking to go to physician assistant school within the next three years. As I work towards this goal, I seek direct patient care hours including the care I give through care. com. Once I knew I wanted to be in the medical field, I knew providing senior care throughout my early years would be something that would fulfill me as well as the senior. My passion to help those who can't help themselves and simply make someone's life easier, led me directly to wanting to serve the elder population. I began senior care in May 2023 after receiving my Certified Nursing Assistant license. I have worked in a nursing home facility in my hometown, Manhattan, Kansas, for 15 months now, and still continue to work there over holiday breaks. I also worked for visiting angels home healthcare in my second semester of college. Going into my third semester, I am looking forward to gaining more exposure to serving seniors.
