I have been taking care an 11-year-old for the past 7 years and have been helping his mom with her now 2-year-old twins for the last 2 1/2 years. Care of the oldest has consisted of transporting him to and from various places, taking him to places of amusement (Scandia, theater, etc.) Care of the twins has consisted of getting them ready to leave the house, providing educational activities as well as supervising free play. In addition I have assisted with meal time and when the babies were ill. I enjoy interacting with children of all ages. They have a different perspective on the world, which I find intriguing. I feel that I am positively adding to their life experiences. And besides, it's just so darn cute to watch them figure out the way things work.
