About Wendy

I'd describe my personality as loving, caring and positive. I like caring for seniors because I feel I learn so much by being with them. I love listening to stories and experiences. I'm looking for a job that allows me to use my care and compassion while building a relationship of mutual respect. I started caring for seniors when my mother in law began showing signs of dementia. I have always enjoyed working with seniors, which I did a lot in my work at the church. When my mother in law needed care she did not want a stranger. I felt honored to provide her with the care she needed. In my spare time, I enjoy cooking, woodworking and home projects. I began embroidering about a year ago so I can make personalized gifts. I also enjoy gardening and spending time outdoors. One thing you should know about me is I love whole heartedly. The people who I care for will know they are loved. My skills include meal preparation, companionship and housekeeping.
