About Wendy

I am a 52 yo retired pediatric ED physician looking to transition into a career in child care. I am certified in basic and advanced life support and have previously been certified in advanced trauma care. After retiring from the ED (18y), I did general pediatrics for an additional 4 years. I am a licensed driver with no violations and have lived in Columbus since 1993, so I am very comfortable with the area. I am married with grown children, and we raised them locally so I have a lot of experience with carpools to sporting events, theater/musical performances, and social gatherings. I speak English as a first language, know some medical Spanish and had conversational German through college. Non-smoker, occasional wine drinker. No drug use. I do have a dog, if allergies are an issue (but on the good side, I am very comfortable with cats, dogs, pets of any kind).
