About Wendy

I have 15+ years experience as a paid caregiver, more if you include non- paid family members. It gives me joy to help those who have given for a lifetime. Breaks my heart that most see them with nothing more to give or as a burden. I have worked also in hospital, Physicians office, Pharmacy, Insurance and banking. I find caregiving work more satisfying. I currently work part-time with Roanoke Co Social Services. I have two clients with them and employed by them 5years. I've provided care for special needs clients with dementia, blindness, stroke, COPD, colostomy support. I assisted with daily living skills, bathing, dressing, meals, household light cleaning, laundry, Dr. Appts, exercise, and community outings. I enjoy spending time listening to the story's my clients tell me. I love to share with them as well.
