We also had crafts and other learning activities that helped with both their learning and development. I took them to classes and set up play dates on a regular that helped with their social skills.

Wendy has been working for us for more than two years and we are sad that we won't need her anymore when our youngest starts preschool this fall. She has been caring, reliable, energetic, organized and very safety-conscious -- and has been a huge help in my keeping my sanity while working full-time with two little ones! Our youngest was six months old when we started with her and we have watched him really flourish under her care. He adores her and likes to give her big huggies! She has been terrific about arranging playdates and activities in the neighborhood, which has helped both boys build strong friendships with their peers. She's been great, too, in helping establish healthy routines for naps, tooth-brushing, hand-washing, cleaning up after meals etc. She reads to them a ton and encourages creative play like drawing and building. Our oldest has multiple severe food allergies and she's been very conscientious about making sure he stays safe. I never worry when she is with them and we'll miss her a ton! She would love to connect with a family that is expecting and trying to arrange for care in the fall after the baby is born.
