For the last 4 years, I have worked with an 86-year-old. She suffered a stroke, but could still get around. My duties included meals, shower, dressing, shopping, companionship, house cleaning, gardening, scheduling and accompanying to appointments. This is where I learned that I have a passion for working with the elderly. At present, I am working for 2 seniors. They have become a very big part of my life. My goal is to live out these precious days with a positive attitude, loving and caring everyday. I have just recently completed a course at NHC as a CNA. I will take my exam at the beginning of February.
