Hi! My name is Wendy, and I'm currently a Pre-K teacher at a small private school in Northern Virginia. I recently moved to Fredericksburg and am looking for occasional babysitting opportunities in the area. Both during the summer and breaks throughout the school year. I've been babysitting since 2012 and absolutely love working with children of all ages. In addition to my teaching experience, I'm also a proud mom of an 18-year-old and a 3-year-old. My youngest would accompany me during babysitting jobs, and she's very sweet, social, and used to being around other kids. She is also one of my students. I have my own car, a clean driving record, and am fluent in English and Spanish. Along with babysitting, I'm also available to do housekeeping (cleaning kitchens and baths, laundry, making beds) and errands (grocery shopping, after-school activity drop-offs, and pick-ups). Wendy started caring for my son at 3 months old until he was almost 2 years old, and made the most profound impact on his life (and my family's life). She did more than just "watch" my son; she invested fully into his life and became a huge part of our family, and not in an overbearing way. She was also never late, never had her phone out, and kept the house organized/clean while he slept. We said goodbye to Wendy only because we moved out of state, although I wished I could have taken her with us. I am aware that I will never find someone like her again because of how special she is. I cannot recommend her enough!!!
