My graduate degree and experience as a Certified Teacher and counselor equip me with the skills to create safe, developmentally appropriate, and educational experiences. I am patient, calm, friendly, and approachable. I have experience with both Conscious Discipline and Restorative Practices, believing in natural consequences and the importance of a calm adult. Wendy's babysat my elementary school-age kids on several occasions, and we've really enjoyed having her. She excels at being attentive to their particular needs, remaining calm in the midst of difficult moments, and working with parents to think about ways to help both kids and parents become the best versions of themselves. She definitely brings a lot of care and energy into her role as their babysitter. For her, it seems less like a job and more like a calling. We're grateful to have found her.
