About Wendy

For two decades, I've dedicated myself to nurturing children's growth and development. Previous babysitting roles solidified my passion for making a positive impact on their lives. My graduate degree and experience as a Certified Teacher and counselor equip me with the skills to create safe, developmentally appropriate, and educational experiences. I am patient, calm, friendly, and approachable. I have experience with both Conscious Discipline and Restorative Practices, believing in natural consequences and the importance of a calm adult. I believe only a calm adult can help regulate a disregulated child. I am comfortable caring for up to 4 children and can assist with meal preparation, and light housekeeping. I communicate with parents using verbal updates at pickup or regular texts. I also have experience with special needs children. I am CPR and First Aid trained. I'd love to bring my experience and love for learning to your family.
