Hello! I am a retired teacher and recent empty nester who is looking to continue to make a positive impact on children's lives. I am an experienced childcare professional with 40 years of hands-on experience caring for children from infancy through early childhood in both classrooms and via home nanny care. I enjoy utilizing my teaching abilities to create a nurturing and cognitively stimulating environment to help children achieve their highest potential and be successful learners. I feel it is important to create a relaxed and fun learning atmosphere using creativity and the arts to encourage children's innate potential, so I gear my teaching style to individualized play to include children's various abilities and functional levels. I am skilled in supporting developmental milestones and have a strong background in managing daily routines, appointments, and educational outings.
