Hi, I'm Wendy! I have worked w/ several children (mostly elementary-school-age) over the past 19 years. I have experience with children with special learning needs, physical needs, speech disorders, behavioral disorders, & emotional needs. I have experience working with children on the Autism Spectrum, & can calmly and patiently work with more than one person/child simultaneously. I am great at multitasking & love to add a bit of fun and whimsy to everything I do. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Education w/ a minor in Psychology. I can provide assistance not only with someone's basic needs, but also w/ meals, tutoring, & positive behavioral strategies. In addition to my many years of experience working with children, I have Nurses training, 20+yrs of CPR training, 25+yrs of First Aid training, Epi-Pen & Allergy training, Diabetes Training, Active Shooter/Emergency Event training, conflict resolution training, Food Handler Card, & Child Abuse Prevention/Reporting Training.
