My responsibility in delivering care ranging from basic support, including medication, food preparation, laundry as well as end of life care when my client became bedridden. I have patience with challenging behaviors, dementia, cancer, anxiety and other issues. I also like to do crafts and engage my clients in activities to keep them engaged. Wendy spent time conversing with Mom. She is very personable, and always considered Mom’s feelings. She gave meds, vitamin pills, and served meals. Wendy was always punctual to answer the phone when I called to ask questions and check on Mom. She also communicated by text and gave reassurance that things were ok or updated when there were medical concerns. My Mom had dementia and Wendy spent extra time talking with her, reassuring her, and comforting her. We always felt Mon was in good hands with Wendy, and Wendy showed true care and concern for Mom. Wendy takes extra pride in caregiving and it is obvious that caregiving is more than just a job for Wendy, it is part of her compassionate way with people and especially the elderly.
