I have 31 years of banking experience but, after caring for my mom in my home the last 2 years of her life, I began to look for a job helping others. I have worked 3 years in a group home for the mentally handicapped. I also cared for 4 Alzheimer patients for a period of 8 plus years (1 male and 3 females). I am energetic, dependable and caring - treating my patients like I would my mom or dad. In addition to meal preparation, personal care, medications, housekeeping, I've also helped with running errands, hair appointments, doctor appointments, and bill paying. I like to be busy and I want to spend my hours meeting the needs of my patient. I recently served as the co-leader of the care teams at my church - helping to meet the needs of our members/community. I can work day or night-time hours.
