Hello there! I'd describe my personality as loving and caring. I had 4 kids on my own and I know how hard it is to take care of children, so I help as much as I can and I love being surrounded with kids. They are joyful and its always nice to be surrounded with that. I know how to bake, meal prep, house clean, organize, train. Oh and let's not forget I love pets too. My skills include patience, flexibility and quick reflexes I'm very flexible with my schedule. I have my own transportation and can help in any way needed. I have nanny experience, I helped several families throughout these past years, but for the past 3 years I've been taking care of twins. Ps. My first language is spanish
It is our pleasure to write this letter of recommendation for Waleska, who has served as the primary caregiver for our twins from March 2024, when they were just two months old, until August 2026, when they reached two years and eight months of age. The only reason our professional relationship is ending is due to our family’s relocation to North Carolina; otherwise, we would never have considered parting ways with her. Any family fortunate enough to have Waleska care for their children will be truly lucky. Waleska—affectionately known as Wawa in our home—has become an integral part of our family and is dearly loved by our twins. She offers the rare combination of unconditional affection and boundless energy, caring for children as if they were her own. She is exceptionally loving, genuinely invested in our children's well-being, and engages them in play throughout the day. Waleska follows instructions carefully and seeks clarification whenever necessary. We trust her completely, having entrusted her with our house keys and listing her as an emergency contact with our pediatrician—clear testaments to how much she means to us. In addition to her caregiving responsibilities, Wawa assisted with light housework during the twins’ nap times, including laundry, cleaning, dishes, and other household tasks. She is a self-starter who anticipates needs without constant direction. Importantly, she refrains from using her phone during work hours and is mindful of our minimal screen time policy for the children. Waleska is a mother herself, and her nurturing nature is evident in all she does. We have had the pleasure of meeting one of her daughters, and her husband has also become a familiar and welcome presence to our twins during drop-offs and pick-ups. This speaks volumes about the positive and caring family dynamic she brings with her. Wawa communicates with our twins in Spanish, fitting perfectly into our trilingual household—my husband is from Puerto Rico, and I am from Finland. As a result, our twins speak Spanish with Wawa, Finnish with me, and are learning English from others. Although Spanish is Wawa’s first language and my proficiency is limited, we have communicated seamlessly in English without any difficulties. We have compensated Wawa at her standard hourly rate, providing lunch, snacks, and beverages during the workday. She is more than deserving of this and so much more. We will truly miss her when we move. If you have any questions or would like further insight into our experience with Wawa, please request my contact information from her. I would be more than happy to speak with you. Thank you.
