I started working as a nursing aide. I worked for 3 years then working at Provena hospital in Waukegan at medical surgical department as a patient care technician for 8 year. After that I work as a private caregiver since then. I took care of patients who have dementia, stroke, Parkinson's disease, lung cancer, diabetes and CHF. I have experience catheter and colostomy care, tube feeding, and transferring. Other than that, I do bed bath/shower, toileting, meal preparation, medication management/reminder, turning and changing diaper for bed bound patients and checking for vital signs.
