Experience: 10 yrs
Hi, my name is viola. I have 11 years of caregiving experience with 8 of those years being in private care. I have had the privilege of taking care of a wide variety of individuals who range in different daily needs and requirements. I am experienced with hospice feeding tubes, colostomy bags, and more! I have training in Alzheimer's/ Dementia as well as Parkinson's disease and many other ailments. I am pet friendly and a non-smoker. I know with my experience and compassion I can offer your loved one the utmost level of care and look forward to doing so.
Vjolca cared for our father for approximately 2 years, during some of the most difficult years of his life. I cannot say enough about the compassion, dedication, and genuine care she gave him and our family. The most important thing I want anyone considering hiring Vjolca to know is that she is an incredible advocate for the people she cares for. She is like a mother bear: she pays attention, asks questions, and does not stop until her patient gets the care they need. This was especially important for our family because, as his children, we were balancing our own lives and sometimes didn’t recognize things our dad needed. Vjolca made sure we knew what was happening and helped us be more involved in his care. Looking back, I am incredibly grateful for that. Our father had Parkinson’s disease, a colostomy bag, and eventually required hospice and specialized care. Vjolca assisted him with his daily needs, including eating, bathing, using the bathroom, personal hygiene, dressing, and caring for his colostomy. She also took care of his laundry and bedsheets and kept his room clean, comfortable, and organized. What made her truly special, though, was the relationship she had with our dad. She was not just his caregiver; she was his friend. She was warm, patient, cheerful, and genuinely loved spending time with him. She brought happiness and comfort into his home and made his final years feel as normal and peaceful as possible. Even after our father passed away, Vjolca continued to stay connected with our family. We are still in contact with her, and she even visits our mother from time to time just to say hello. Our family will always be grateful that Vjolca was part of our dad’s life. She cared for him with dignity, patience, and love, and we would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for someone truly dedicated to the person they are caring for.
