Along with being one of her main caregivers, I am currently a nursing student, meaning I am not only CPR/BLS certified, but understand more complex medical needs as well. I volunteered within my church for years working in their special needs program, working with individuals who had severe cerebral palsy, autism, and more. I am passionate and truly love working with individuals with special needs, as it is one of the most rewarding things I have ever experienced.
