I have 10 years experience working with children with developmental delays; five years experience working with adults with health and other challenges living in their homes. I assessed and set up personal care and therapy services for clients with developmental delays and medical needs. I also provided hospice respite care for terminally ill clients for three years. I am a patient and empathetic listener. I enjoy providing companionship and respite services, or to read to a client. I provide medication reminders and prepare a simple meal. I am able to help facilitate a client to write their memoir, take a client out for lunch or shopping, or take them on outings of their choice. I speak Spanish and some German.
