I am the oldest of nine children, so I grew up learning how to work with children. I have worked at a childcare center for five years and I took courses during my time there that taught me many skills. I worked as a tutor for a program with my university and I helped in a classroom last year. I worked with infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school age students. I love doing crafts and playing games. I want to be able to have a positive impact on the children which allows me to grow as a person, too. I learned to listen and be attentive to the needs of the children. It is fun to learn from them and what they think too.
