About Virginia

I offer care in my home in Granby CT for up to three infants and young toddlers - a calm, intentional environment built around early developmental needs. Daily rhythm of rest, play, outdoor time, and nourishment, with Waldorf and Montessori-informed activities. Families provide food, formula, and diapers; I provide everything else. For 15 years I've cared for children in private households, daycares, and clinical settings while earning a Psy. D. in Counseling Psychology. Trained in Circle of Security, Attunement-Based Caregiving, and through the Seleni Institute. Experience with developmental and medical needs, learning differences, and multiples. Parents have described me as loving, compassionate, and reliable. Looking ahead, I'm growing this into a small pod school rooted in Waldorf and Montessori philosophies, bringing on a trained early years teacher as the children move toward pre-K and kindergarten. Families who begin now are foundational to that vision.
