About Virginia

After growing up in the UK, I moved to the US for college and I have dedicated my career to caring for, and teaching children. I became a certified Montessori teacher for 3-6-year-olds in 2015 and went on to get my MEd. in Montessori Learning. I have worked with a variety of children and their families both in and out of the classroom. I particularly enjoy helping children develop their independence, incorporating lots of outside time, and supporting them to solve their own problems using a Positive Discipline approach. I am fully First Aid and CPR certified, I have experience responding to medical emergencies and working with children and families with severe allergies. When I'm not working with children I enjoy playing with my cats, reading, crochet, and watching documentaries. I see my role as a privilege and an honor to partner with a family to support them by caring for their child or children to the very best of my ability. I'm looking forward to getting to know you!
