About Virginia

Hard-working, empathetic, and caring individual, with a love and passion for assisting, and impacting young children, with experience as a Daycare assistant teacher, Church nursery worker, and longtime babysitter/nanny throughout her life. High School graduate (as of June 2021) and community college graduate w/ an Associates of Arts degree in May 2022, and senior-year student (final year beginning student teaching in August) working towards a bachelor's at A&M Commerce for a degree in Early Childhood Education with a teaching certification in EC-3. Most recently worked at Texas A&M Commerce Children's Learning Center, working with children ages 6 weeks to 5 years of age, in the school year as a Floater Student Teacher/Teacher Assistant from January 2023 to May 2024, ending employment there due to the establishment's closure. Enjoys spending time with her family and close friends, her emotional support cat Winston. Throughout school, received Kindness Award and Spirit Award.
