Experience: 2 yrs
Supporting the independence and well-being of seniors is my true passion. As a Certified Nursing Assistant with two years of experience, I bring a calm, compassionate approach to every home. I hold current CPR Training and First Aid Training certifications to ensure your loved one remains safe and secure. My services include personal care, mobility assistance, meal preparation, and light housekeeping. I am also experienced in providing hospice support and specialized dementia care, where I focus on de-escalating stressful situations and adapting to changing routines with patience. I prioritize building connections by learning your loved one's personal history and unique preferences. I am happy to provide daily written reports or verbal updates, whichever you prefer. I am also very comfortable with pets. I look forward to bringing kindness and reliability into your home to help your family thrive.
Virginia is capable, kind, professional, affable, competent in her field and very much adept at caring for others with grace and positivity. My mother and I had the good fortune to meet her when my mom moved into an adult family home where Virginia was one of the wonderful staff. My mom loved musicals and we were delighted to find that Virginia was willing to sing along with me/us when I tried to engage my 85 year old mom with Alzheimer’s with music. Virginia took an interest in music she was not yet familiar with that the residents in her care expressed interest in. During holidays she offered to print out lyrics we could sing to holiday tunes. She has a wonderful sense of humor that lightens moments. She organized tea parties and icecream socials. Was a lively New Year’s Eve party planner and Thanksgiving and Fourth of July holiday meal magician. Virginia knows how to lovingly redirect people and as for the comfort she provided me as the loved one of someone in her care- I have nothing but genuine gratitude. My mother felt loved and respected in Virginia’s care- there was genuine mutual respect between all of us and I will always be grateful. I could not recommend Virginia more and will sign my name to that should a personal and public endorsement be helpful. Sabrina T. Seattle WA
