About Virginia

Hello parents and guardians. My name is Virginia and I am a life-long resident of Stockton. I have dedicated my life and career to the care and nurturing of children of all ages. With four adult daughters of my own, two grandsons that are growing up so fast, and a rewarding position teaching preschool children, I have decided to venture out to find part-time employment. Not only do I find caring for children extremely rewarding, but I find it also keeps me young and active. A little background about my career: I owned my own daycare for many years while my daughters were at home; this allowed me to stay at home with my children while earning some "fun money." For years, I worked with numerous organizations to advocate for disadvantaged families and children. I have always had a soft spot in my heart for children, particularly those with special-needs. This choice in career has also translated to my personal life. I have hosted many foster children in my home for years. My education and certifications: After my children went off to college, I did the same. I completed my Bachelor's of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education. I also have DOJ clearance, CPR, and First Aid certifications. I also have reliable transportation, a clean driving record, and consider myself a safe-driver.
