About Virginia

I offer flexible, in-home childcare Monday through Sunday, and am comfortable with infants through elementary school years. I try to mix reading, vocabulary building and storytelling with creative play. I enjoy working with children because of their natural sense of wonder, and untapped potential, and my goal is to create a safe, encouraging environment. My experience includes raising my own children, being a grandmother, working in nursery school settings, and literacy-related work. These have given me an appreciation for each child's unique needs, and stage of development. I'd be happy to support your family with occasional babysitting, recurring care and educational enrichment.
